This winter Your Paris recommends you to visit an unusual photo exhibition dedicated to … Parisian stairways! The opening and the vernissage will be held this Sunday, February 9.
The exhibition is presented by a professional photographer and Anna Gorvits whose works are published by Afisha, Intersection, Art Bmx Magazine, Vivre Paris.
Anna Gorvits reveals what is typical to Paris but is yet hidden in surprising, secret places.
As photographer says: “It’s about stairways’ graphic. Old houses, sagging and creaking stair railing with all their mysteries, lines, stories and contrasts.”
Interesting fact: all the photos are taken with an iPhone, and you will easily find some advice at Anna’s blog, where the photographer gives useful and sometimes hilarious tips on mobile photography.
No wonder there is something truly hypnotizing, almost theatrical in the works presented at the exhibition as their author, in addition to two famous photography schools, has graduated from the Directing Department of the Free Conservatory of the French Cinema! Photographer’s passion for directing also finds expression in her photo tours in Paris.
This weekend do not miss the “Stairway to Paris” that will take you to a real Parisian Wonderland!
